Taking the practical delivery TAFE NSW is known for, to new levels using streaming solutions designed to enhance the learner and teacher experience.
Over the last few years TAFE NSW have designed and created over 200 Connected Learning Points, taking the virtual connection between teachers and students to new levels. And while most of the world went virtual in the Covid days, TAFE NSW raised the bar with the construction of 43 Specialist Connected Learning Points. These specialist Connected Learning Points complete with multiple cameras, microphones, audio and streaming technology are enabling us to take the practical, hands on delivery that TAFE NSW is known for, to an educational model designed to give students a learning experience in their local community that they would never have had access to before.
In this workshop we will discuss the following case studies of where and how TAFE NSW has utilised Specialist Connected Learning Points:
We will discuss concepts and ideas with the participants addressing some delivery challenges they may be encountering.
Alli led the educational rollout of CLPs from a project perspective and has been supporting these teaching teams in each of the case studies. All presenters know and use the technology regularly and have worked closely with the teams to develop their delivery models and the capability uplift of their staff
