Viviana VN Nunez
Viviana is an Accomplished Lecturer in the Adult Migrant English Program at TAFE SA.
She is currently the Lead Instructional Designer of the AMEP LEARN Courses- TAFE SA’s Learning Management System for the AMEP.
Viviana brings 27 years of teaching experience to the digital platform that she has led her team to complete. This LMS was funded by the Department of Home Affairs. Viviana is now updating the LMS for EAL learners. Viviana supports lecturers in navigating aspects of student enrolment and promoting the advantages of using the digital learning resources.
Viviana demonstrates her dedication to technology and innovation in every educational endeavour she encounters. The AMEP’s new LMS is not different. After mastering the creation of digital resources Viviana seized the opportunity to introduce the idea to the workgroup of the AMEP which has enhanced and forever changed the learning experience for migrants and refugees in the AMEP program.
Viviana is originally from Arequipa, Peru, and began her teaching career at the National University of San Agustin before moving to Australia in 2006. She has worked as an English as a Second Language Lecturer for the AMEP and SEE program, at TAFE SA since 2010. She has coordinated, leading teams with innovation, support, and her unique ability to motivate both learners and educators alike. She took up her position in the AMEP in 2021.
Viviana’s dedication to lifelong learning inspires others, and she promotes kindness, collaboration, and motivation among educators. Viviana believes in the transformative power of education and technology, constantly innovating to ensure they coexist in dynamic classrooms, inspiring change and making a difference in the lives of learners and educators.
Viviana is a Flipped Learning Certified Lecturer. She recently completed a Graduate Certificate in Education- Digital Learning at University of South Australia. Viviana holds a Bachelor of Education specialising in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages and a Post Graduate Degree in Higher Education from the National University of San Agustin. She is currently an Accomplished Lecturer in the AMEP TAFE SA.
