Michael Hamilton
Mike is a highly motivated Senior Executive in the Vocational Education sector with over twenty-five (25) years' experience in the TAFE environment. Almost all Mike's experience has been in regional and remote areas, giving him great insight into the nuances of providing training opportunities where distances are great and population thin.
Mike's primary motivation is to have a positive impact in the Tertiary Education sector across Australia for the benefit of students, industry and key stakeholders. His current focus is Northern Australia, specifically the wonderful Northern Territory with its high proportion of First Nations people and substantial number of population new to Australia.
Mike is enthusiastic to share his lived experience with other VET professionals to ensure Australians can receive quality skills and training irrespective of where they live.
